This product is design and implementation of the
System In and Out UPNM Cadet Using Matrix Card
(RIFD). This system is based on the development
of prototype methodology. The system is develop
using the Web-Based Interface System. The system
requires cadets to enter the apporiate details for
applying the Pass Cuti and sent to the OC Battalion
(Office in Command). Nest OC will approve the
application either pass or fail. If passed the cadet
can print the Pas Cuti and if fail the cadet can repeat
the applying process again. Cadets may be out
on vacation at the specified time by scanning the
matrix card through the machine scanners at the
guardhouse. Log in and Log out will be recorded
in the system for OC’s reference. This system is
expected to provide benefits to the cadet and OC at
the National Defence University of Malaysia.
Literally, water is the most critical element that we
need to concern. The element is very important to face
any existing probability of emergency in the future.
Most important thing is the capable of producing the
sustainability of clean water in emergency situations.
This is because to ensure the viability for humanity
considering human needs the water to survive. To
achieve that, this research has been conducted
to determine parameters of surface runoff in the
unpaved area selected and then tested by the design
proposed water filter media. After that, the exact same
parameters were tested to determine the effectiveness
of the water filter media. The aim of this study is to
determine whether the proposed design of water filter
media capable of produce the clean water according
to department of environment doe to be used an
alternative water sources. This study represents
an attempt to determine the characteristics and
parameters of surface runoff in the unpaved area in
the university campus from January until May of 2016.
Special emphasis was placed on water quality rather
than water quantity. The results of these experiments
were analyzed based on evaluating the water quality
parameters. Overall, the results analysis shows that
the proposed design water filter media are capable to
make the water cleaner. The study proving that after
the samples were tested on the proposed design
water filter media has higher value of Water Quality
Index (WQI) (80.90) compared to before (81.97).
