PAMERAN SME ANNUAL SHOWCASE (SMIDEX) 2016

Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) telah menyertai pameran SME Annual Showcase

(SMIDEX) 2016 yang telah diadakan selama tiga hari bermula dari 17 hingga 19 Mei 2016 bertempat

di Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur (KLCC). SMIDEX 2016 ialah acara tahunan anjuran Kementerian

Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri (MITI) melalui agensinya Perbadanan Perusahaan Kecil dan

Sederhana Malaysia (SME Corp. Malaysia). Sebagai menyokong usaha PKS dalam meningkatkan

kompetensi, pihak SME Corp. Malaysia telah mempelawa UPNM untuk menyertai SMIDEX 2016.

UPNM telah menghantar sebanyak dua produk penyelidikan daripada dua penyelidik yang terpilih

untuk mempamerkan produk mereka. Dua produk berkenaan ialah seperti di Jadual 38.

Ringkasan Produk

Crash notification system is a system developed

android application. This application monitor mobile

phone acceleration sensor in order to detect the

sudden deceleration produced in crash. In case of

an accident, an alarm will warn you that a crash has

been detected. This application will automatically

detect crash location and at the same time it will

send an alert SMS to immediate family members

(assigned phone number) in order to get an assist

of emergency call. This is because this application

will be accompanied by a tracking system global

positioning system (GPS) to track the exact position

(latitude & longitude) area of the accident.

When driving in a rainstorm and visibility is low, many

drivers are quick to turn on a vehicle’s hazard lights,

thinking that this will help other drivers behind to see

his vehicle in the rain. Another reason is to alert other

drivers that the vehicle is being driven slowly due to

rain. Although turning on the hazard lights in the rain

is well-meaning, it is a practice which is against the

traffic regulations and can do more harm than good.

Additional rear warning lights system referred to as

Tropical Rainstorm Lights or TRL Been Provided as a

this problem. The TRL system emits a yellow green/

lime yellow colour light, distinguishing its appearance

from the existing amber-coloured 4-way lights system
