Jadual 36: Senarai Pemenang Pameran Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2016

UPNM juga telah menerima tawaran daripada Kementerian Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air (KeTTHA) bagi

projek Development of Optimal Heave Buoy Wave Energy Converter (WEC) berjumlah RM 6,604,700.00

yang dibiayai oleh Dana Akaun Amanah Industri Bekalan Elektrik (AAIBE).

PENGANUGERAHAN PENCAPAIAN DI PERINGKAT ANTARABANGSA DAN KEBANGSAAN

PAMERAN MALAYSIA TECHNOLOGY EXPO (MTE) 2016

Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) telah menyertai Pameran Malaysia Technology Expo

(MTE) 2016 yang bermula dari 18 hingga 20 Februari 2016 bertempat di Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC),

Kuala Lumpur. Pameran MTE 2016 diadakan bertujuan untuk mempamerkan hasil penyelidikan dan

pembangunan (R&D), teknologi terkini serta memberi pendedahan dan peluang pemasaran terhadap reka

bentuk produk dan perkhidmatan. Pameran tersebut juga turut mempamerkan penciptaan dan inovasi

terkini daripada pusat pengajian tinggi, institusi penyelidikan, penyelidik persendirian dan juga sektor

korporat dari negara-negara Asia dan Eropah.

Sebanyak 12 penyertaan daripada sembilan orang penyelidik UPNM telah menyertai pameran tersebut.

UPNM telah berjaya mencatat sejarah kejayaan yang membanggakan dengan sembilan penyertaan produk

penyelidikan UPNM telah memenangi satu pingat emas, satu anugerah khas, tiga pingat perak dan lima

pingat gangsa. Senarai penuh pemenang ialah seperti di Jadual 36.

When driving in a rainstorm and visibility is low, many

drivers are quick to turn on a vehicle’s hazard lights,

thinking that this will help other drivers behind to see

his vehicle in the rain. Another reason is to alert other

drivers that the vehicle is being driven slowly due to

the rain. Although turning on the hazard lights in the

rain is well-meaning, it is a practice which is against

the traffic regulations and can do more harm than

good. Additional rear warning lights system referred

to as Tropical Rainstorm Lights or TRL been provided

as a solution for this problem. The TRL system emits

a yellow green/ lime yellow colour light, distinguishing

its appearance from the existing amber-coloured

4-way hazard lights system.
